A Fun New Orleans Summer Nassau Bash

Couple: Blaire & David
Blaire and David came to us from New Orleans, dreaming of a wedding in Nassau Bahamas. So our focus was to plan a fun-filled NOLA-infused Nassau bash. Because they favored a church ceremony, I Do’s were exchanged at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. Next, guests had a few hours to freshen up at host hotel Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. Later the reception took place at Blue Sail Restaurant in Nassau. All photos from Alfred Anderson.
Getting Ready

Getting Married
The bride and groom wanted to incorporate personal elements into their wedding. The couple’s hometown priest conducted their ceremony. We love personal touches like these to make each wedding meaningful. And this wedding was meaningful!

The Reception
Blue Sail Restaurant was the venue for Blaire and David’s reception. Overlooking Sandyport Beach, the restaurant is a great Bahamas wedding venue for couples who love great food and beautiful views. We incorporated many tropical elements into the decor. Firstly, for instance, driftwood, Bird of Paradise and natural woven placemats figured prominently into the tabletop design. Then, in addition, tropical flowers and greenery are a great addition to a simple wedding cake. Also, a groom’s OREO cake with milk was another option for guests to try.

Let’s party!
Overall, the theme at Blaire and David’s wedding in Nassau Bahamas was FUN. Moreover, entertainment greeted guests at every turn! In addition to a traditional steel pan duo and Junkanoo band, there was glitter face painting, light-up leis and plenty of great music to keep the party going.

Undoubtedly, we are ALWAYS open to incorporating personalized elements and moments for couples on their wedding day. Do you dream of your own Nassau bash? What are you waiting for?!?! Contact us now to start planning your Chic Bahamas Wedding!
