A Weekend-long Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Wedding

Couple: A Weekend-long Celebration
They met at a country club in Connecticut and romance bloomed all the way to the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar wedding, where they exchanged wedding vows on the beach at sunset. Natalie and Brendan are a perfect match, with Brendan being the life of the party while Natalie is the behind-the-scenes one who makes sure everyone is cared for.

The couple has had many wonderful trips to Nassau and Baha Mar, so bringing their friends and family to this favorite place of theirs was an obvious choice for the wedding.
Lace Dress Perfect for Beach Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Wedding Ceremony

For the ceremony, Natalie wore a lavish lace gown with a plunging neckline and later changed to a summery white dress for the reception. With her blonde hair styled in loose waves, she looked gorgeous. A bouquet of white Phalaenopsis orchids mixed with soft pink florals completed her beach-perfect look. Brendan was equally stylish in a custom-made blue suit that had the couple’s name and wedding date monogrammed into the jacket.
We love it when children are involved in a wedding and the lovely little ones nearly stole the show as they walked down the aisle with flowers, signs, and the ring box. Along with Brendan’s son and best man and Natalie’s bridesmaid/maid of honor, they arrived at the modern triangle-shaped archway and were no doubt enchanted by the flamingos prancing around on the sand. When it comes to tropical perfection, this Bahamas wedding had it all.

The ceremony was the highlight of a weekend of celebrating. A welcome event at the Blue Sail Restaurant in Sandyport Beach kicked off the festivities where guests were entertained by Kenny’s Trio Band. The next morning everyone mingled at Baha Bay Club and everyone was excited to see Natalie and Brendan tie the knot. Check out our Baha Mar Wedding Planner’s Guide.
The ceremony was filled with sentiment and emotion. There were joy, laughter, and tears of happiness as this beautiful couple became man and wife on the Hyatt Beach East. Holding hands, they walked down the aisle to the soulful sounds of Mikey & Ian’s Caribbean drums and their loved one’s cheers of congratulations
As the newlyweds and bridal party had photos taken, everyone else sipped tropical cocktails on the Palm Lawn. Then it was time for dinner, speeches, and dancing with the Falcon’s Entertainment Traffic Band keeping the dance floor full. We decorated the tables with gorgeous florals and candles and pretty fairy lights added a romantic feel.
The elegant wedding cake was adorned with flowers and pearls and was cut before the couple’s first dance, which was illuminated by guests waving sparklers. The party picked up after dinner and the dancing was high-vibes with The Junkanoo Rush adding to the exciting atmosphere.

Later the bride told us the whole Hyatt Baha Mar wedding weekend was more amazing than they ever imagined.
“We were both beyond happy with your services! We can’t thank you and y our amazing team enough.”
All of us at Chic Bahamas Weddings & Events felt blessed to be a part of this heartfelt celebration of love and wish Natalie and Brendan all the happiness in the world.
