The Nature Island of the Bahamas, Grand Bahama, is the Bahamas’ fourth largest island. Grand Bahama boasts a Bahamas Garden Wedding Ceremony that’s a growing hot spot for destination weddings. Pretty and charming as the many verdent areas of beauty around the island, the Garden of the Groves is dedicated to Freeport’s founder Wallace Groves. A 13-acre botanical wonderland, the gardens are an oasis for your intimate, secluded Bahamas wedding.
For couples seeking a non-beach venue, the Garden of the Groves is the perfect spot. Perched atop a hill, the sweet St. Francis Chapel holds up to 50 guests for an intimate Bahamas wedding ceremony. St. Francis is a replica of the first Freeport Church. Well suited for a ceremony with soft pastel color palette, the chapel looks down over lush, verdant gardens and waterfalls.
The Labyrinth offers an attractive ceremony setting for groups over 50. A few steps away are gardens to host a reception for up to 100 guests.
We share with you today photos from a recent styled shoot at the Gardens. All photos courtesy of Lyndah Wells Photography.
A Maypop Designs/Chic Bahamas Weddings collaboration, this Bahamas wedding design shoot featured a chapel ceremony setup followed by scenes for a Bahamas wedding reception overlooking a lake with waterfalls and cascading foliage.
