On The Verge of Cancelling Your Bahamas Destination Wedding Plans?

Wait a minute! Your dream of celebrating your special day in the Bahamas can still come true!

Beginning 15th October, The Bahamas will reopen its territory’s beaches and major hotels on all islands as part of phase 3 of its five-phase Tourism Readiness & Recovery Plan. This means that you can host your Bahamas destination wedding hitch-free, despite the changes brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.  

Vacation-In-Place to be Lifted November 1

And, come November 1, the 14-day Vacation in Place will be lifted and destination wedding groups and others can move around freely. Prior to travel to The Bahamas, visitors must obtain a negative RT-PCR test no more than seven (7) days before travel to The Bahamas.

Once in possession of the negative COVID test, travelers are required to apply for a Bahamas Health Travel Visa at travel.gov.bs.
