Bahamas Wedding Venue: Spanish Main Beach
Bahamas wedding venue, Spanish Main Beach on Grand Bahama Island, Saturday, May 14, 2016 was the site of Janee & James’ sweet destination wedding ceremony! They exchanged vows during a gorgeously bright sunshine evening on the white powdery sand of Spanish Main Beach. The Austin, Texas couple were married by Bahamas Marriage Officiant Rev. Dr. Emmette J. Weir.
Thirty-two family members and friends travelled to the Bahamas for this lovely couple’s destination wedding weekend. Host hotel was Pelican Bay at Lucaya.
Guests were feted at a welcome reception poolside overlooking the bay at Pelican Bay.

Come dance with me …under skies so blue … perfect for a wedding in the Bahamas.
Just the two of us … James and Janee stroll the beach taking it all in as Mr. and Mrs. following their wedding ceremony. A ferry boat transported guests to and from the beach ceremony. The ferry ride is an idyllic 15 minute boat ride from the hotel.
And, now, it’s time to join their guests at Pelican Bay Hotel, Bones Terrace, for an evening of dining and dancing.
Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres of Mango Grouper, Conch Fritters, Chicken Satay, Blackened Beef Fajita and Stuffed mushrooms.
A Buffet Dinner featured Conch chowder, Spinach & bacon salad, Roasted butternut squash Soup, Red tomato salad w/ balsamic vinaigrette, Sautéed Grouper, Braised Lamb, Creamy Potato Gratin, Cous/cous and Caribbean Rice. Desserts were Banana Tart and wedding Cheesecake.
After dinner and other formalities, it was time to take to the dance floor where the wedding group swung to the music of DJ Keith “Freeze” Rollins. The group continued the party in the infinity pool at Bones Terrace.
We wish James and Janee a lifetime of blessings and happiness!
