Chic Bahamas Weddings Couples 2019 Recap

We planned and executed so many lovely weddings in the Bahamas in 2019! Moreover, we take so much pride in our craft. It makes us giddy to look back on all of these beautiful people and their weddings in our little slice of paradise. Here’s our recap of the 22 Chic Bahamas Weddings we created last year.
Tiffany & Eric in Nassau

Tiffany and Eric and their guests were on a Caribbean cruise for their wedding celebration. Fun was the order of the day. With this in mind, they docked in Nassau and had a colorful daytime ceremony at Blue Sail Restaurant. (Love this venue! See here for another lovely Blue Sail Wedding!)
Allison & Derek in Exuma

Allison and Derek hosted an intimate ceremony and reception at The Salt House, a luxury beachfront villa in Exuma. Guests enjoyed a lovely al fresco dinner on the villa’s expansive patio with the waves crashing in the background.
Ariel & Derek in Freeport

Romance was a key element in Ariel and Kyle’s Freeport wedding on the beach. After that, guests gathered for a gourmet dinner and reception at Flying Fish Gastro Bar. For smaller groups, this is a fantastic venue on Grand Bahama Island.

Taylor & Chris in Abaco

Taylor and Chris opted for a fun-filled ceremony and reception at Abaco Beach Resort. The couple’s love for boating and island friends drew them to Abaco. Their guests loved their time exploring this gorgeous island. The Destination I Do blog also featured these sweethearts!
Michelle & Robert in Nassau

Canadians Michelle and Robert hosted their small group of family and friends at The Island House in Nassau. The bride’s mother created stunning macrame elements that the couple incorporated in both the ceremony and reception decor.
Jennifer & Andrew in Exuma

Jenni and Andrew rented out Blue Point Villa in Exuma for their beachfront wedding and reception. Beautiful natural elements were infused into the decor, making for a wedding full of low-key luxury and warmth.
Gillian & Tyler in Exuma

Gillian and Tyler had visited Exuma on vacation and fell in love. So the couple hosted their guests on the same island for their special day. A reception at The Rusty Anchor Restaurant was the perfect location for delicious Bahamian fare and cool breezes.
Ana & John in Nassau

The luxury SLS Baha Mar was the site of Ana and John’s Nassau wedding. We absolutely love this site for couples looking for top-tier luxury. Furthermore, it offers a variety of ceremony and reception options.
Blaire & David in Nassau

New Orleans couple Blaire and David exchanged vows at a traditional church ceremony and followed it up with a NOLA-infused bash reception at Blue Sail Restuarant. So much joy and so much fun!

Gina and Bryan’s Exuma wedding was pure romance in beautiful shades of pink. The couple said, “I Do” on the beach and hosted a fantastic outdoor reception at The Rusty Anchor in Exuma.

Instagram influencers Ana and Nick’s stylish wedding was picture perfect and insanely gorgeous. The ceremony and reception at Atlantis on Paradise Island is a no-brainer for couples who want the full resort experience.

New Jersey couple Katy and Stefan selected Spanish Wells as the locale for their destination wedding because of the groom’s childhood roots to the island. The intimate ceremony and reception was a lovely boho affair.
