Destination Wedding a Year Later is a Charm!

Destination Wedding a Charm

Couple: Spring Garden Wedding

Kelsey and Marshall’s destination wedding in the Bahamas a year later was a charm! The couple planned a May 28, 2020 wedding but Covid changed those plans. But all disappointments work for the best!

One year later, Kelsey, who grew up vacationing at Four Seasons Ocean Club with her parents, enjoyed a multi-event celebration with family and friends.

This couple’s chic, stylish garden wedding was one for the books! There are so many reasons to host your destination wedding at the Ocean Club.

The New York couple met through pairing by the bride’s youngest sister, Courtney. Courtney spotted Marshall and determined that he was a good match for her sister, Kelsey. The couple clicked and the rest was history! An attorney, Marshall, and Kelsey, a producer

Marshall and his parents are jazz aficionados. So, it was most important that this genre of music be incorporated into their wedding entertainment. Chic Bahamas Weddings & Events found the couple the perfect band for their event. We arranged for the very talented classic jazz group Ambasah, led by noted Bahamian musician Christian Justillien for the event. And for ceremony and cocktail hour we organized the lovely string quartet Strings n Tings. It was important to reflect the destination wedding charm in every aspect of the weekend’s activities.

Wedding day brought clouds, the threat of rain, and excitement. Our events manager worked with us to push back the weather call to 1 pm. Great move as by then, the bride’s father who was very active in planning Keylsey’s wedding, along with the couple decided to stick with outdoor venues. The lovely Cloisters and Versailles Gardens were awaiting the bride, groom, and guests. This destination wedding was a charm. The weather would not change that.

Kelsey held so many fond memories of vacations at Four Seasons Ocean Club that a destination wedding there was a must. The wedding day attire was formal. The bride’s elegant wedding dress reflected the understated style of the resort. She wore a gorgeous Pronovias dress. Her bridesmaids wore black, long dresses, and groom and groomsmen wore formal black suits.
