The Perfect Bahamas Elopement on Eleuthera

Bahamas luxury elopement

Couple: Jaycee & Adam

New Yorkers Jaycee and Adam wanted to elope on a secluded spot on the beach. Friends had mentioned that Harbour Island and Eleuthera were THE places to be in the Bahamas. An elopement in Eleuthera it was! Upon arrival to the island, the couple instantly recognized that their friends were right. In light of their delayed arrival due to a missed flight, we hopped right into securing their Marriage Licence. Our first appointment the following day was with the Spanish Wells Administrator, who was super helpful. In spite of travel delay, Marriage Licence was in hand – the first step to a legal wedding in the Bahamas.

The bride and groom exchanged vows on Gaulding Cay Beach in North Eleuthera at sunset. Then, they enjoyed a romantic dinner for two on the beach at The Cove Eleuthera. You may recall some of the other weddings we have planned at this stunning site – see Brigid and Ian’s gorgeous wedding, and Stephanie and Matthew’s Luxury Summer Wedding! In addition to being a lovely spot for groups, The Cove is also an ideal choice for a private elopement in Eleuthera. And it’s proximity to Harbour Island made it a no brainer for our couple.

After a few days of fun in the sun and a honeymoon on Harbour Island, Jaycee and Adam returned to New York. In addition, one hundred of their closest family and friends celebrated the newlyweds at a formal reception following their elopement in Eleuthera.
