Exciting Exuma Covid Bahamas Micro Wedding

Couple: Viviana & George

California couple Viviana and George frequently visit Exuma, and knew it was the perfect spot to host 30 of their closest family and friends for their Covid Bahamas micro wedding. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we communicated extensively with the couple leading up to the wedding date.  Armed with negative Covid tests and the requisite Bahamas health visa, bride, groom and guests all made it to Georgetown, Exuma.  The relaxation, calming setting, stunning crystal-clear blue waters, swimming with the pigs, all made for an amazing experience at the Bougainvillea Villa.

So much intricate detail in these beautiful gown.

The tide was incredibly high on the wedding day, with storms imminent. We grabbed a four-hour window to hold the beach ceremony and outdoor reception and made the best of it! This spot is ideal for any couple hoping to host a micro wedding in the Bahamas.

We managed to beat the rain for this one!
Guests dined al fresco on the balcony of the lovely Bougainvillea villa.

With only 30 guests, it was easy to keep things spaced and safe – making guests feel perfectly at ease during this Covid Bahamas micro wedding.

Due to the inclement weather, our good-natured couple took a boat out the following day for some stunning photos at Sandy Cay sand bar. Love how these turned out!

Just look at that water – 19 shades of blue!
Not a bad place to tie the knot!
True love in Exuma.
