Logistics & Legal Requirements
Do I need a marriage license in order to be married in The Bahamas?
Yes, a wedding license will need to be obtained at the specific island where you’re being married. Please note, you need to arrive in Nassau, Grand Bahama, or the Out Islands at least 24 hours prior to applying for your license and offices are not open on the weekend. But rest assured, we will help with your application and procurement of all necessary paperwork.
How much does a wedding license cost?
Currently, the cost of a marriage license in The Bahamas is $260, we fold into our service costs. This fee covers the license itself, the two required affidavits of singlehood, and one certified copy of your marriage certificate.
Is a blood test required to apply for a marriage license?
No, a blood test is not required for marriage licenses in The Bahamas.
Will my Bahamas wedding be valid in my home country?
Yes, your wedding in The Bahamas will be considered 100% legal and accepted in all countries around the world.
Who is available to perform our ceremony?
