Austin grew up visiting Great Exuma.  His parents have owned homes on the island for many years.  Georgia and Austin treated their guests like family, giving them the vacation of a lifetime and honoring every person’s attendance. The creative teams behind the wedding planning and production worked together seamlessly to outfit each villa, ferry boat, and transportation car especially for each person. At the rehearsal at Kahari Resort on Stocking Island, guests were welcomed by a Steel Pan Band playing. Then after dinner and speeches, they walked to Peace and Plenty Beach for a night of celebration, music and a bonfire and pig roast on the beach.

The next day, guests were shuttled by boat to spend a day at Crab Cay, playing in the crystal waters. A Blue Rhythms DJ and Saxophonist set the scene and created the perfect beach lounge day. Guests enjoyed passed appetizers as well as a conch salad live station by chef Sharika.

On the wedding day, planners and the guests of honor planned a day of activities and leisure for their family and friends. Some guests spent the day fishing. Some opted for cruising around to different beaches. Meanwhile, the wedding party and beauty team went to work getting dressed and taking pictures. Then like magic, the music begun and the big moment was under way. Georgia and Austin exchanged vows under a circle of flowers and the Bahamian sky.

Guests were led to the reception site along a beautiful beach path lit by glowing golden lanterns. As the sounds of the Blue Rhythm Band floated through the air, the cocktail hour began with signature drinks and butler-passed appetizers. The family had a quick photo shoot after the ceremony and then dinner began. The chef teams impressed with an elevated taco station, a carving and live hibachi station, as well as a Mac and Cheese and Pasta live station. Georgia and Austin danced the night away with their guests and then enjoyed a firework display over the ocean. Guests got to cut loose for a little while longer at the DJed after party and munched down on some late-night snacks before retiring back to their villas. Sunday’s departure followed a group buffet breakfast at the Rusty Anchor at February Point. Guests’ departures were organized by the planning team, and everyone left with big smiles on their faces.
