Katherine and Riggs love Harbour Island. So after getting married in the Cayman Islands, they chose to continue the celebration a few weeks later by bringing fourteen of their closest friends to Briland for five unforgettable days. It wasn’t a grand gesture. It was simply the most natural thing they could think of.

The Browns Take Dunmore Town: A Multi-Day Celebration

Katherine and Riggs arrived a day before their guests — a quiet, intentional choice that set the tone for everything that followed. Their Virtuoso travel agent had coordinated every detail of the journey, and the House and Parties design team was already at work bringing five days of celebration to life.

Guests flew into North Eleuthera Airport and were met by a concierge team waiting at arrivals. From there, transfers to Three Island Dock for the boat ride over — that short, breezy crossing to Harbour Island that never gets old no matter how many times you’ve made it. Waiting on the other side: tropical drinks and coconut shrimp. Just like that, fourteen people were on island time.

Each day that followed held a surprise activity the couple had planned especially for their guests. Each evening ended around a dinner table at one of Katherine and Riggs’ favorite spots on the island — Da Vine, Ocean View, The Dunmore, The Landing, Sip Sip, Pink Mermaid. After dinner, games and nightcaps kept the nights going. No one was in a hurry to sleep.

The details throughout were personal and considered. Personalized golf cart flags flew from the carts moving guests around the island. Custom straw fans and bags, crafted by the mother/daughter duo at A&A Hidden Treasures, were waiting for guests as a piece of the island to hold onto. Gray Cliff Cigar Rollers brought their craft to the festivities. Karisma Junkanoo brought the music and color of Bahamian culture that you simply cannot replicate anywhere else. When the night called for it, the group ended up at Daddy D’s Night Club.

The group was housed at Coral Sands Inn & Residences, the ideal home base for a Harbour Island wedding group, sitting right on the pink sand beach. Guests spread across Brett and Sharon’s private residences, each with its own plunge pool. Water toys were waiting on arrival. The pools quickly became the spot between events — easy, unhurried hours that let everyone settle into the rhythm of being somewhere this beautiful together.

Coral Sands has the kind of design that feels genuinely Bahamian — shell-clad columns, hand-painted ceilings, canopy beds that nod to an earlier era on the island. For a group celebrating together, having multiple private residences within one property means the intimacy of a complete house takeover with the ease of a luxury resort just steps away.

The Main Event

An Evening at Rock House Harbour Island

The centerpiece of the five days was the main celebration at Rock House Harbour Island.

Rock House sits on a stony slope above the historic foundations of Dunmore Town, on an island accessible only by boat. It is surrounded by the island’s finest restaurants, bars, and boutiques — including the prestigious Sugar Mill Trading Co., owned by India Hicks, goddaughter of King Charles III. The property has a remarkable history. It was shaped into its current identity by J. Wallace Tutt III, the South Florida builder best known for transforming Gianni Versace’s Miami mansion into a South Beach landmark, who arrived in 2002 and transformed a historic home into a boutique hotel that drew A-listers for years. Rock House is now in the hands of Nassau-born couple Teynarae and Henry, who have honored that history while giving the property a warmth and contemporary elegance that is entirely their own.

The west-facing restaurant captures the sunset over the harbor in a way that makes everything else quiet. For weddings of up to 80 guests, it offers something rare — a venue that is historically significant, architecturally beautiful, and managed with genuine care.

Every guest that evening arrived dressed in white. The design team built the room around large bar floral arrangements, custom table linens and menus, and beautiful lighting.

RAH Designs, working alongside the Chic Bahamas Flowers team, had been carrying the floral vision across all five days — exquisite tropical arrangements that built in scale and beauty toward this night.

At Rock House, they were working alongside Wildflowers Bahamas rentals and the full design vision, and the room they created was stunning.

KD’s Steel Pan was Katherine’s must-have from the very start of planning. On that evening, it delivered.

The 123 Plus Band played dance music that kept everyone moving. The evening closed on something even better than wedding cake: espresso martinis, noise makers memories.
