Real Weddings Bahamas – Jennifer and Moises
Real Weddings Bahamas today showcases Jennifer and Moises’ beach magical day. When this lovely couple got engaged, they knew they wanted a destination wedding in the Bahamas.
Jennifer contacted me by e-mail months ahead of her wedding date and we started planning her special day at the Grand Lucayan Beach and Golf Resort, Grand Bahama Island. Some 32 guests from California, Florida, New York and Rhode Island, joined the couple for the wedding weekend. A Welcome Bahama Mama Sunset Cruise kicked off celebrations and put everyone in the mood for the big day.

The Bride, a Financial Crimes Investigator, chose a beautiful Essence by Australia dress that sparkled in the light and wore barefoot sandals with Swarobski pearls by Jewels by Michele E. Moises, a Field Service Engineer, wore a Cubavera suit.
Jennifer escorted down the aisle by her brother.
The couple tied the knot at a a beautiful Lighthouse Point beach ceremony before family and close friends at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9th, 2014 under a Bahamian pine wood arbor, draped and tied with floral bouquets.
Following the ceremony, guests strolled down the beach to Breaker’s Beach for a Cocktail Hour and Buffet Dinner under the stars.
Real Weddings Bahamas: Reception Venue
The couple elected an Island Regatta Buffet for dinner. Complete with local delicacies, guests topped the meal off with dessert and wedding cake.
This Real Weddings Bahamas decor featured burlap/lace runners handmade by the Bride’s friend. Other décor was created by the Bride and Etsy shops (SweetNCCollective, ShabbySoul, DenaDanielleDesigns, Restorationandlace, FairyFoldWeddings, RusticWeddingsRus).
Pretty mason jars wrapped in burlap, lace and rope by the Bride were filled with bright orchids, Asiatic lilies, roses.
The Bride’s favorite Grand Lucayan wedding memory was that “everything was so beautiful thanks to Chic Bahamas Weddings and the staff at the Grand Lucyan. Just walking up to the reception site and seeing all of the details come together so perfectly, that was my favorite moment!
Jennifer’s favorite Honeymoon Memory was spending the days lounging outside of our beachfront Lanai Suite and enjoying the beautiful scenery that the Bahamas has to offer.
She chose to get married at Grand Lucayan because “it had everything we were looking for for our destination wedding.”
We wish Jennifer and Moises a very happy marriage!
This festive Real Bahamas Wedding climaxed with guests being feted at a Champagne Brunch before departing for their respective homes back in the United States.
