Tell us about yourself
I was born and raised in Brazil. I immigrated to the US after marrying my Army medic husband, Michael. After completing my BA in my home country, I focused on creating a business that resonated with my values. Since then, I’ve captured the emotions and love of hundreds of couples. I photograph weddings across the country and abroad, and have been featured in both national and international publications. Having lived in four different countries, I’m now based in San Antonio, Texas with my husband and Golden Retriever, Ronon.
What does your typical day look like?
I work out, read, walk my dog, and Facetime with my family in Brazil. And soon I will be going back to one of my favorite activities, volunteering at a local animal shelter.

You have a friend traveling to The Bahamas for the first time – where do you recommend they eat/drink/shop and stay and why?
In Eleuthera, The Cove is one of the most relaxing and beautiful hotels. It’s just a perfect place to unplug, have a great meal and enjoy your loved one.
In Harbour Island, the Coral Sands Hotel is incredible! I had a delicious meal at the Boathouse and lovely coffee at COCOA Coffee House.
In Exuma, the Peace and Plenty Resort is a good option if you want to stay downtown in a hotel with a great restaurant.
If you’re looking for a big resort with all the amenities, SLS Baha Mar is the way to go.
Make sure you walk around the island and talk to the locals, everyone is very friendly with a contagious smile and energy!

Best advice for couples planning a wedding
“This is your wedding. Do what you love. Invite the people you want. Dance to the songs that bring you the most joy. Eat the best food you’ll ever have. Enjoy all the moments. Share the photographs with your children and grandchildren. Most of all, spend the rest of your days with the person you love.” – Unknown.
