Weddings in Nassau Paradise Island: Beth & Charles
Weddings in Nassau Paradise Island with bride, groom and guests travelling to the destination by cruise ship then enjoying a full wedding ceremony and reception ashore are popular. Charles and Beth’s event was no exception. The couple’s cruise with 38 family members and friends aboard Majesty of the Seas was a joy in itself … combining this with an onshore wedding equals bliss.
Arriving at the Port of Nassau at 12 noon, Beth and Charles opted for a 6 p.m. ceremony start time at Sandyport Beach. Beth wanted a relaxed ceremony with family and friends surrounding she and Charles. Fuschia umbrellas shaded guests as they witnessed the couple tie the knot.

Moving from the main beach to the sandy area adjacent to the restaurant’s bar for a private Cocktail Hour with passed hors d’oeuvres.
Following Cocktail Hour outdoors, the group retreated to dinner in Blue Sail’s Dining Room. After the fun and frolic of the evening, bride, groom and guests returned to the cruise ship, Majesty of the Seas, to continue their journey.
Blue Sail Restaurant and Beach Bar is Nassau’s only destination wedding venue that’s located right on the beach. Perfect for both ceremony and reception, Blue Sail accommodates up to 100 people.
