1648 Bar and Grille at located French Leave Beach Resort Marina, Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera, is a one of such places. This beauty is perched on an area of outstanding natural beauty. While on Eleuthera to stage clients’ destination wedding, I sought out the best dining spot on the island. What a relaxed, dreamy and idyllic dining location I found at 1648!
Welcoming archways of beautiful stone and landscape of native flora and fauna greeted me. Further along, I came upon the sweeping expanse of public space … swimming pool, terrace and the blue waters of the Bahamas … all breathtaking.
Lovely 270 Acre Preserve
French Leave is a lovely 270 acre preserve that stretches from the great Atlantic Ocean to the quiet, historic settlement of Governor’s Harbour. As the resort grows, leisure activities will include water sports, fresh water pool, fitness center and myriad dining options. Its beach access is substantial as is its harbour access. The beauty of French Leave is its close proximity to the heart of Governor’s Harbour which is conveniently located minutes away.
I took the opportunity to dine at this very special spot more than once. I would have dined at French Leave even more but, alas, ran out of time.
